| Real Estate agents must be licensed by the State of Illinois. This process includes taking a one semester class (usually held locally), and passing a two-part examination. Real Estate agents must continue to attend classes to maintain their licenses. Real Estate is regulated by both federal and state law, so agents often attend special classes and meetings to keep up on changes. |
